Do you want to know Jesus?

Decide today to meet Jesus just as you are.

The Gospel (or "good news") of Jesus Christ is this: Jesus Christ came to the earth to save the world of our sins. He was crucified on the cross as an innocent man, rejected and died for us. Three days later, Jesus rose from the grave. Jesus' mission was to save us, to offer forgiveness of our sins. We enter into the body of Christ by faith (belief in Jesus) through grace (unmerited/unearned favor).  Thus, Romans 10:9 tell us, "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We are taught to repent and ask Jesus into our hearts.

Becoming a believer is the first step. We are reborn to the Spirit, and thus we are called to become true followers or "disciples" of Jesus so that we can in turn share our transformed lives with others. Our Great Commission from Jesus is to "Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20).

Allow Him to change your heart, and trust that He will lead you to others whose lives will also be transformed by faith. Remember that you have been saved by grace, and now, there is no condemnation for you, because you are in Christ Jesus, and you no longer walk according to the flesh, but of the Spirit. (Romans 8:1-2).
